SKEGNESS WATER LEISURE

Skegness Water Leisure is set around three well maintained fishing lakes, offering a quiet and spacious environment for relaxed days outdoors. The site suits anglers, families and visitors who want open space, fresh air and a calm setting close to the Lincolnshire coast. The lakes are stocked with a mix of coarse fish and are managed to a good standard, making the park suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers.

Fishing Lakes
The lakes contain carp, bream, rudd, roach, perch and tench. Water quality is inspected by DEFRA and the lakes are monitored to ensure stocking levels are maintained. The lakes are open daily until dusk and a fishing permit is required.

Fisherman’s Lodge
The lakeside shop offers bait, tackle and essentials for visitors. Day tickets and seasonal permits can be purchased at the shop or reception.

Light Railway and Airfield
The site features a narrow gauge heritage railway. During summer, visitors can enjoy rides in restored carriages pulled by a historic diesel locomotive, or on selected days, the Peckett steam engine named Jurassic. The park also includes a small airstrip used by light aircraft.
