Grooby’s Pit
Grooby’s Pit is a quiet, adult only touring park set within seven acres of countryside, featuring two well kept fishing lakes. Pitches are arranged around the lakes, giving many visitors views of the water and local wildlife such as kingfishers, ducks and moorhens. The site is known for being peaceful, well maintained and ideal for guests who want a calm break close to the Lincolnshire coast.
The park is a short drive from Skegness and its main seaside attractions, and it is also well placed for visiting Chapel St Leonards, Mablethorpe, Louth, Lincoln, Woodhall Spa and surrounding villages. Many visitors choose the park for its relaxed setting and easy access to the coast and countryside.
Touring pitches are large, level and gravel based, with room for caravans, cars and awnings. Each pitch has a 16 amp electric supply, lighting, a personal tap and grey water drainage. Rock pegs are recommended for awnings. Grass pitches are also available near the nursery lake.
For guests who want something different, the park offers a glamping option in the Kingfisher Lookout Shepherd’s Hut. This bespoke hut sits by the lake and includes its own shower room, split level decking for fishing and a private hot tub. It is positioned to make the most of morning views and the peaceful wildlife setting.
